BrickSpace and The American Association of University Women (AAUW) present STEM Day for Girls. This conference offers girls (2nd -6th grades) a chance to engage in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through fun, hands-on workshops. During lunch STEM professionals will facilitate discussions about their STEM career and how STEM help solve world’s problems. Girls will explore a LEAD testing exhibit, attend two, one-hour workshops. Workshops will focus on Robotics, Bridges and Wind Turbine.A State Scientist will be present for the LEAD testing exhibit, you can bring costume jewelry to be tested for lead.

Conference starts at 10 am. If you have registered, please come by 9:45 am to check in.
